Re: Games for 2022
I am not 100% yet for the whole show due to work scheduling concerns, and probably won't know until January. However, I will definitely show up.
As to what I'd like to see/play... we play tons of OCS down here. I'd just as soon play something different. GOSS and GTS are high on my list.

Re: Games for 2022
I only get to play OCS at WF or sometimes a vassal game. I'm probably going to side game a small OCS something with Greg Sarnecki, but want to keep my options open to try something different. GMT's Stalingrad 42 looks interesting. Total War (if it could be played may be nostalgic), or something else.
Always interested in OCS so if anyone is organizing something let me know, like to see what is on the menu before I lean in on a commitment.

Re: Games for 2022
Like John, I only get small OCS games in at home. That being said, I like having a mix of a big game as well as smaller side games for in between turns, etc.
For big games, I'd be up for OCS (Third Winter/Beyond the Rhine?), learning GTS or GOSS, or Axis Empires. Not into ACW so much.

Re: Games for 2022
There's the new "Baby GOSS" Hannut game that could easily be set up and played on the side as a learning game.

Anyone have any interest in playing Absolute Victory?

Kevin:
A neighbor (Jordan) who is attending Friday-Tuesday said he might be interested in Absolute Victory. I need to review it online more.

Re: Games for 2022
Planning on being there from Friday until Mon-Tues, cannot do longer due to work. Also dragging my brother along. We are bringing a game along for the time but would love to jump into a "second game" for both of us. Up for anything we can do over 2-3 nights.
Re: Games for 2022
There his a large east front OCS game going on, it's filled but will be present with some chaps from the UK playing again.
I'll be playing in this one.

Re: Games for 2022
Assuming COVID doesn't shut them out Marc Randall is bringing Forgotten Battles from the UK. It is one of two companions to Third Winter. FB is a 4 mapper OCS still in playtest. He already has 4 players lined up. Tony Birkett, designer and developer, is supposed to be attending also. I don't know what he's planning on bringing - maybe another Forgotten Battles, The Hero Cities (3rd in the set), or something else.
