I'll be running Flattop double-blind as usual, starting Tuesday.

This year, I'd like to try running more multi-hour turns (perhaps 4 hours at a time = a shipboard watch?).

That gives an opportunity to run the November scenario, which lasts 4 days and focuses more on surface ships and land-based air; each side only has one operational carrier. Let's see if more turns covered and less carrier-hunting might see some of the troop convoys actually arrive?

Blind Flattop. I hope I can get in on it. Longer times b/w decision cycles should make a lot of minutia disappear for players: a very good thing.

I just wanted to thank John, Merv and Shawn for yet another well-organized and fun Winterfest 2024. Dave and I had a great time seeing old friends and gaming for the week. Hats off to you guys for all your hard work and efforts. We hope to see you all next year.
