I'm in the same boot as Dave; I'd love to learn but I'm playing in one of the big MG games and it's not at all clear how much time I will have.

Well, it looks like there is some interest, but not enough to schedule a game at this point. I plan on being in the open gaming area (I am not in any of the big games), and I will bring my F&E stuff so we can go over it when you have a free hour, look at a turn or how combat works or whatever. See you there!

Nick, it doesn't look like we have an open gaming area, but I'll assist in F&E-ing, if you need someone. In between Big Game turns, that is.

Lee and Rick:

There may be some open gaming space after all; there's a little space on the current floor plan, but there's also a secondary room available to us across the hall from the main gaming space. This room is in the process of being remodeled, with concrete floors and a partially finished feel, but when checked last week it was clean, bright, and open.

And Merv rented more tables than will fit in the primary room.

I plan on arriving Saturday, and I guess we will see how things stand then. We can decide if we want to just do a demo of Fed & Empire at some point in the week, or if we want to set a game up and play it when other games are in downtime, or whatever. I will likely not be available Thursday though.

Well, that didn't work out. I woke up Sunday morning with headache and sore throat and spent the rest of the week in bed. Sorry for disappearing, but I was not fit to be around. I wouldn't have done anyone any favors if I had showed up.
