Well, there are still issues. First if Dave gets the playtest within the next 2 weeks for the Hubes pocket playtest I will only have time for that and playing the 9 turn scenario time for Trumpets. If the playtest does not come Dave and I had already agreed to play the BTR bulge scenario I really have no interest in playing the campaign scenario.

What about Rich? Does anyone know if he has game plans yet?

I'll still be ready to go whether we have 2-3-4 players.

I was wondering about that. Haven't heard a thing from Rich, and though he sometimes drops out of sight for a while he usually keeps in off and on touch with Merv. No idea if he's on board this year.

Did get a message out to Dave Mignery to see what his thoughts are.

DaveM1:

I saw you post you're a newb to OCS...I'm not very seasoned either (maybe a dozen games), so I'd be willing to do a scenario with you as a side game if that's of interest.

I'll be there first Saturday/Sunday, and have the following:

Tunisia
DAK
Burma

Also know Baltic Gap

But I'd be willing to try BTR if it doesn't have too many special rules...

Let me know...

Hi Jeff and welcome to our small corner of the internet.

I've been wanting to play DAK for years and years, as a 1 v 1 side game. If this interests you, I'd be up for it. I'm committed to doing the BtR campaign game but would grind some turns as time permits playing DAK.

Thanks

John

Jeff:

You have NO IDEA how long John has been hoping to find a DAK opponent at Winterfest!

John, Jeff,
Since it sounds like Jeff won't be there for the whole week, I would step into DAK when he is done. That is useless he beats you John, and there no DAK left!

Make sure you remember the Eye of Newt...you'll need it for the initiation ceremony!
