John,
I have BtR and will bring it. I can bring anything as i will be moved in by then. Unpacking all my games after not seeing them for a year is going to be the best Christmas ever!

We've got two committed to the Seven Days of the Civil War Brigade series, and they're open to others joining in.

It seems to me that I've also heard talk of Day of Days (Standard Combat Series monster sized D-Day game) and now Beyond the Rhine. What say you all?

Dave,
I had planned on playing Day of Days, but have waited TEN YEARS for ATR and came to my senses! I can bring it. Looks like it would be a very fast paced Normandy game, being that it is SCS.

I have Day of Days as well and could bring it easily if there was interest

I would be good for Chickamauga, but my time at Winterfest will possibly be limited to 3 or possibly 4 days. I imagine this is a lengthy game. Perhaps we can do a scenario, and I can use this as a learning opportunity.

I also see interest in the Seven Days campaign. I could be up for that. Todd - are you up for Civil War?

Ron,

American Civil War is never my first choice and I don't know why. Yes, this year I'm committed to playing in that 7 Days thing on the Federal side. I would be happy to take a look at almost anything as a side game. It might be my first year without playing WW2...though I'm sure Total War will be out any day now and several copies will be played widely and by almost all of us.

Todd-

Have you checked the Beyond the Rhine lists? I think there are slots in game2, which will be the Bulge scenario.

As far as side games go if you're looking for a WW2 fix Lee Hamer and I have had a blast with Normandy 44, and I have sussed out Hoplite so a scenario or two could easily hit the table

I've got Day of Days which would play fast and easy but won't plan on cracking the rules unless there's interest.

I had a chance to talk to Jeff a long while on the phone a few days ago and he was very doubtful about being able to attend WF this year due to some unknowns going on at work. We may not have enough for Hubes or a 2nd BTR...

Just saying.
