War Thunder

Been playing this game a bit, if you love tanks, you will enjoy War Thunder Ground Forces.

I think it would be cool to have our table top group play this together. There is an air piece that is far more developed than the ground combat, though I don't know how it rates compared to the ground game yet, I don't have a joystick and have given up trying to fly with a mouse and keyboard.

I've always been amazed by the "mousers" who somehow managed to get their planes flying competently.

Maybe I can dig my stuff out and see what's there. May not get around to it before the fest...have to see

I so much wanted to fly in War Thunder with a real joystick and in cockpit only view, but I could never get the Joystick configured correctly after dozens of attempts to program it right. So I fly with mouse / keyboard with a behind the plane view. Very arcade and it has very little sim features in the flight models. I can't even take off in Sim mode using mouse keyboard. The torque spins my plane into a flat spin and I can't recover. So I settle for arcade style....

Dave have you seen this? Get ready to drool!

Get ready to build a new high end gaming rid, but I feel it would be well worth it if you're into warbird sims.
